If your metal and stones are sufficient for your new design, we will only charge for the labour and design.

The Carmen Jewellers Process

Consultation

We begin the process with an obligation-free consultation to discuss the perfect signature item for you. We will get to know you, your distinctive taste, and your specific requirements. We take a personalised approach to ensure that we’ll translate your vision into the jewellery of your dreams.

Quotation

After talking through your idea, we will give you a quotation that reflects all the charges and information you need to craft your bespoke jewellery. There will be no unforeseen costs or hidden add-ons. You will need to deposit 50% of the overall cost to start the designing stage.

Designing

We will bring your vision to life through a computer-animated design (CAD) that contains the details and different angles of your unique jewellery. You now have the option to either go through the design and request changes or approve the concept for the next step: production.

Production

Once the CAD is finalised, your piece will undergo production. We check all the specifics of your custom piece to guarantee that all your instructions have been followed. The entire process takes about 8-12 weeks to finish. And there it is, your handmade jewellery all ready for you.

How long does it take to remodel jewellery?

The process of remodelling jewellery is similar to creating a custom-made piece. Expect your well-thought-out design to be with you in just 8-12 weeks. Our master jewellers and goldsmiths take their time to ensure that every intricate detail is perfected.

How much does remodelling jewellery cost?

The price will differ from one design to another, depending on your requirements and the supply of additional materials to be used, like 22k gold, Argyle Pink Diamonds, or Australian Opals. However, we take $300 as a design fee to show you what your piece will look like. If you go ahead with the production, the $300 gets offset from the total invoice value.

What do I need to bring?

Avail of our remodelling service and create a sentimental item! After your obligation-free consult, you’ll only have to pay the 50% deposit to make the CAD. We’ll also need the gems, crystals, and gold you have if they’ll come from you. For pieces that are designed to suit an existing item, please show the jewellery to us for proper consideration. We’ll have our approachable staff to guide you and advise you every step of the way.
